About La Pizza & La Pasta
Located in the heart of Westfield Valley Fair at Eataly Silicon Valley, La Pizza & La Pasta celebrates two pillars of Italian culinary tradition: Neapolitan pizza and handcrafted pasta. Watch expert pizzaioli prepare traditional pizzas in golden wood-burning ovens, and savor a rotating selection of perfectly al dente pasta dishes rooted in Italy's most beloved regional recipes. Complement your meal with a glass or bottle from our curated Italian wine list, or raise one of our iconic cocktails - a crisp Spritz, a bold Negroni, or one of our seasonal bar offerings. Ask your server about our rotating specials and tableside experiences that bring a little extra Italian flair to every visit.

Hubby and I came here for lunch and we had a table right away with no waiting time as it was not busy. And we ordered Margherita Verace TSG Tagliatelle alla Bolognese San Benedetto Sparkling Water 2x Double Espresso While the ambiance was nice, we didn't enjoy the dishes we had. We had a bit high expectations since their downstairs was offering pizza even though it wasn't freshly made, still, the quality, the crust, and the flavour of the pizza were way better. As for the pasta, nothing special, if not - not to our liking at all. Thanks to the espresso, in the end we enjoyed our black, dark, and bold coffee.

For a restaurant touting authenticity, it didnβt feel particularly authentic. Weβve been to other Eataly joints abroad and they were far buzzier and more expertly executed. Not cheap at all and donβt expect large portions

I used to really enjoy dining here, and honestly, the food is still quite good. However, my recent experience was incredibly disappointing due to a serious food safety issue. I ordered Tagliatelle Alla Bolognese. While eating my meal, I bit into a piece of hard plastic. It was a clear choking and dental hazard. I politely informed the staff about it. To my surprise, their reaction was completely indifferent. They took the dish back and remade it, but not a single staff member or manager apologized for the incident. Furthermore, they did not take the item off the bill. I didn't want to make a scene, so I paid my bill in full and left a tip before leaving. However, finding dangerous foreign objects in food is unacceptable, and the lack of basic customer care or accountability from the staff is deeply concerning. It is a shame because I liked their food, but I value my health and safety more. I will not be returning.

We had a salad & pizza. The pizza was good, authentic flavors. The little gem salad was a bit under seasoned. Our server Benjamin was friendly and very attentive.

The pasta was absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection with rich flavors. However, the Burrata Cheese Salad was a bit disappointing as the cheese was too firm and lacked the creamy texture I expected. On a positive note, the staff provided the highest level of hospitality, making our dining experience very pleasant.

An Unforgettable Italian Experience in San Jose! Dining at Eataly San Jose was nothing short of spectacular! From the very first bite to the final sip, every detail was a celebration of authentic Italian flavor and hospitality. The food was absolutely phenomenal, fresh, vibrant, and bursting with flavor. Every dish felt thoughtfully crafted and beautifully presented. You can truly taste the quality and passion behind each ingredient. A huge shoutout to Benjamin, who delivered top-tier service. His knowledge, professionalism, and genuine passion for his work elevated the entire experience. He didnβt just serve us, he guided us through the menu, made thoughtful recommendations, and ensured every moment was perfect. The General Manager, Andres, was simply outstanding. He went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and that guests felt welcomed and valued. His leadership clearly reflects in the seamless, energetic atmosphere of the restaurant. And then there was Enzo, truly the cherry on top! He brought that final, authentic Italian touch that made the evening feel warm, lively, and unforgettable. If youβre in San Jose and looking for an exceptional dining experien

La Pizza & La Pasta is located on the third floor of Eataly, just off of their main grocery area. It is an extremely popular place for families, with a large dining area and some high top/bar seating. Note- because of the children and size of the restaurant, it can get extremely busy and loud so if thatβs not what youβre looking for you may want to look elsewhere. That said, the food is absolutely fantastic. Highly would recommend making a reservation, although they do accept walk-ins, but you may be waiting for upwards of an hour. Maria was our waitress who was absolutely exceptional (thank you for making it such a wonderful experience!). To start, we got the fried calamari and zucchini with lemon and aΓ―oli, which was great. The zucchini did get a little soggy by nature, but it was still delicious. Additionally we got one of their focaccia loaves which is topped with flaky sea salt and accompanied by amazing olive oil. Great for sharing (or not). We opted for pasta during our dinner, which is fantastic since they have both a fresh pasta section as well as Italian-imported dry pasta available. The maltaglaiti alla norcina was great, with the fresh spinach sheet pasta that is easily

Wonderful service. Server was helpful in ordering and explaining the dishes. Good ambiance and dishes came fast. White truffle pasta was do flavorful. Chicken was well seasoned and not dry. The pizza crust was delicious and the toppings - finnochia salami, mushroom, basil, and mozzarella cheese were well balanced. I also like how it's open quite late
